Windjana Gorge, The Kimberley, Australia

The final gorge we visit is Windjana. It's walls soaring 100 high metres are part of the 350 million year-old western coral reef. Fossils can still be seen in sheltered parts of the gorge.

Walking through early in the morning I spot a couple of small fewshwater crocodiles in the river. On the walk back there are 30-odd sunning themselves on the river banks.
