Queenstown, New Zealand

It was so cold last night (minus three degrees) I had to sleep with clothes and socks. Still I can't complain. I'm grateful I found somewhere to stay as this is high ski season and every bed in town is booked out.

Walking around Queenstown I'm bedazzled by what's on offer. Every second shop is a tour operator offering every activity you can think of from heli-skiing to jetboating. It would be impossible to be bored here. As I walk around thinking about what I'd like to do I feel out of place among all the trendy skiers and snowboarders in their bright attire.
