West Coast, New Zealand

It's grey and overcast for a change. I have a new driver today - 'Dave, the baby-faced assassin' but there are only seven people on the bus.

The driver tells us to sleep or chill out as the views are 'boring' until we get further south on the west coast, the rainiest part of New Zealand (could it be any wetter?). It's anything but boring. If you live in New Zealand perhaps it's nothing special but every time we turn a corner the views leave me speechless.
We stop briefly at Murchison. I chat briefly with one of the girls from the bus I'm sure I've seen before. She says 'oh you're the one who turned back on the Tongariro Crossing'. My reputation precedes me.
